With the arrival of Spring it is only natural that I have been eyeing up all the latest fashion trends which isn't good for my bank balance. So here are a few things that have been added to my shopping basket lately...

Off the shoulder tops are one of my favourite trends this season. They can be used as a staple throughout the Spring and Summer. I can pair this white one with jeans in the Spring and then shorts or a skirt in the Summer so versatile.

I like the style and colour of this top, the cut out design makes it a great transition for Spring when the weather isn't quite warm enough for short sleeves.

Love this printed dress, such a great colour and style. A great piece to transition into Spring and can even be worn in Summer. Cannot wait to pair these with gladiator sandals.

One of my favourite things about the warmer temps is having the option of just throwing a dress on and your good to go. So quick, easy and trendy! This dress is such a good piece for Spring when the weather hasn't quite warmed up yet.

We all know that March and warmer temps bring the return of white jeans! I wore mine a ton last year but unfortunately they were ruined when I dropped a pizza slice on them (don't ask) so I have been eyeing these white jeans as a replacement.

Lately I am struggling to find a pair of jeans that fit my like a glove, well last week I went into the store and tried these on and they fit so well. I had an online voucher to spend so I decided to just order them online instead as I am all about saving money. These jeans are so cheap and such good quality, so I am picking up the white pair above which is from the same store.

Everyone needs a pair of gladiator sandals in their life for Spring/Summer. Love the simple design of these, can't wait to buy these!

Lace up flats are so popular right now, these will basically go with everything and you can dress up an outfit or dress down an outfit with these love them.

The Weekend Where I Stayed Up Until 5am To Watch The Oscars...

Happy Monday and happy Leap Day friends! I am lucky enough to have today off so I am using this extra day to grab a coffee with a friend and to treat myself to a mani and pedi!

This weekend consisted of

Taking the train back home Friday afternoon to visit my parents and friends from my hometown for the weekend.

Heading to a sports bar to watch my country compete in a rugby match with my bestie, lots of alcoholic drinks were consumed and our team won.

Go reds!

Coming home straight after the match at 10pm because I cannot hang like I used too. I promptly fell asleep by 10.05 #oldladystatus

Waking up to an early morning breakfast of pancakes, eggs and bacon, is there anything better?

Staying in most of Saturday to study for a few exams I have coming up in University. I was reading and taking notes for most of the day.

Online shopping to see all of the new spring clothes coming in the shops. Added a few items to my cart and cannot wait to buy them #hurryuppayday

Feeling a little rough Saturday evening so stayed in my Pjs and caught up on The People v Oj Simpson. Guys I am addicted to this show, seriously!

Going for a early morning walk/jog/run on Sunday considering the sun was out, it felt so good to actually get some vitamin D #hurryupsumme

Visiting my grandparents who cooked dinner for the family. Sunday lunches at my grandparents are the best, they always manage to cook way more than is necessary.

Followed up by my favourite dessert a chocolate cake with ice cream. I think I may of put on 5 pounds this weekend.

Lots of baby snuggles from the newest addition to the family. Baby Jacob was born this month and I was too busy snuggling to take anymore photos than this one that was on SnapChat.

Staying up until 5am on Sunday to watch the Oscars! So happy that Leo won best actor, his speech was so good. Good things come to those who wait ey?

Sleeping in on Monday because I had a day off and needed all the sleep I could get after watching the Oscars.

So Wednesday night was the National Television Awards, an awards show that is all about television shows obviously. The two hosts of This Morning, which is a breakfast show won an award. So they went to an after party to celebrate and got really drunk but had to present the next mornings TV show, they turned up still in their clothes from the night before and hadn't even had time to go home. It was so funny seeing these two trying to present a show whilst still drunk and hungover! Definitely give it a watch if you have time.

This is a photo of me and my bestfriend. I haven't really seen much of her since I moved away but its so nice to know that she is always there for me whenever I need her. Those friendships where you pick up where you left off are special to me. Love you Luc!

Sorry for the rubbish quality, had to take it quickly with my Iphone.

I have really dry skin on my face, its all red and my make up never looks right because of it. I have tried tons of moisturisers but they all end up making my skin look oily or because of my sensitive skin I have flare ups. The other day I was at my local store and picked up something by Simple to give it a try, it claimed it was kind to the skin so why not? I have used it all this week and I can already feel a difference. I think it cost around £3-£4.

Recipe

I found this super easy recipe and I can't remember where and I didn't take any photos of my finished product because I was too hungry but you have to trust me that it is was so good! Taste just like a pizza but tons easier.

Ingredients- Tomato puree, cheese of your choice (I used mature and mild cheddar) and toppings of your choice (I used pepperoni) and a baguette.

Step one: Cut down the middle of the baguette length ways, and take out the middle so the baguette has no top and is hollow.

Step two: Fill your baguette first with cheese then the tomato puree and more cheese

Step three: Add the topping(s) of your choice

Step four: Bake in the oven for 10-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Step five: Eat away!
