Every Autumn/fall Jenn does a film challenge and this year I am going to join. As if I need any more excuses to watch endless amount of Tv. It is sounds like such a fun challenge and I beg you all to join in. Not as if you need any persuading when I tell you that you can win prizes.

It starts September 1st and runs through until November 30th so you have nearly 3 months to watch 25 movies. Although it'll probably take me less than a month, I could watch movies all day everyday. You still have time to pick your movies too because lets be honest that'll be the hardest part. You can read more about the challenge and join here.

I was thinking to myself this will be easy, 25 movies to pick no problem. Then I realised that they have to be released in the theatre and you can't of seen them before. It isn't called a challenge for no reason.

So without further adieu here are the categories.

1| Any set in New York City- Breakfast at Tiffany's. I am so ashamed of myself that I have never watched this, such an iconic film. I cannot wait to watch this one.

2|Any incorporating hot air balloons in the story- Had to Google this one because the film I was going to choose (Up) I have already watched! So instead I am going with Casanova.

3| Any featuring a child as the main character- Stand by Me.

4| Any Disney film- This is one of the hardest ones for me, I love Disney films and I am pretty sure I have watched the majority of them. I am going to go with Maleficent, I watched the trailer but never got around to watching the movie.

5|Any set in egypt OR that has an egyptian character OR that stars an egyptian actor/actress- The Mummy. Not looking forward to this one.

6| A close friend or family member's favorite film- The Shawshank Redemption. My dads favourite film of all time and again another one that I should of seen but haven't.

7| Any with the word great in the title- The Great Gatsby. I love Leonardo DiCaprio and really enjoyed the book.

8| Any starring Harrison Ford- The Age Of Adaline. Booked tickets to see this but was too ill to go, didn't even know Harrison Ford was in this until I looked.

9| Any featuring an idiot as the main character- Borat.

10| Any mentioned in levis strauss' list: denim in the oscars: a look at jeans in cinema. One flew Over the Cuckoos Nest!

11| A film about a knight- Brave Heart.

12| A love story- The Notebook. I know I know, my mum loves this film but I haven't watched it.

13| A movie about something miraculous- Like Jenn Cinderella. The new one has had tons of great reviews so can't wait to see how close it is to the original.

14| Any starring an actor/actress with the same first name as yours- My name is the most uncommon name regarding actresses so the movie will probably be the best out of a bad bunch. Scream.

15| A film about the Olympics- Cool Runnings.

16| A film on Time magazine's list- Citizen Kane.

17| Any with a question in the title- Did you hear about the Morgans?

18| Any with a score of ninety percent or greater on Rotten Tomatoes- Silver Linings Playbook.

19| A film about a superhero- The Avengers.

20| Any with subtitles- R.E.C My friend recommended this to me and after looking what it is about I think I could get into it.

21| Any incorporating unicorns in the story- Stardust. Copied Stephanie because I couldn't find any others I was that interested in.

22| A film about a personal victory- The Duff.

23| A film with black or white in the title- The Women in Black 2. Seen the first one and enjoyed it, seen it in the theatre and loved it even more but I haven't seen the second one.

24| Any set in a country you would most like to visit- Jaws 2. The first one scared me when I watched it as a child so never watched the second one!

25| A film set in a zoo- Zookeeper. I love Kevin James he is so funny so I hope this film follows suit.

Please don't judge me for all the iconic and great films I haven't watched yet, I much prefer Tv shows than movies. Binge watching is my style.

Just A Bunch Of Randomness {Friday Link Ups}

1| My new blog design is finally here. The good news is that it is better than my old one but the bad news is I did it myself.
I was far to indecisive in choosing someone to help me and I was bored the other day so just thought I would try and come up with a simple blog design.
After about 3 hours and endless tutorials I did it.
If you know of any good blog designers at a reasonable price I could work with send them my way!

2| I am so excited for fall/Autumn (since the majority of my readers are American I find myself using their terminology a lot more) I love everything about it from Halloween, to chunky jumpers, to knee high boots, to the crunching of the leaves when you walk.
I have already been browsing the internet for some stuff to add to my wardrobe ready for fall/autumn that I will share with you all in the coming weeks.
Am I the only one that is so excited for fall/autumn?

I know I am years behind on this trend but I have finally started to listen to podcasts. I love anything to do with crime as you all know by now so I have started listening to Serial. I am 3 episodes in and I am so intrigued.

I have wanted to listen to it way back when everyone else was but I could never really concentrate listening to podcasts as I am such a visual person but I am so glad I have started to listen to them. So great for road trips or just a commute in the car!
Anyone have any good podcasts to recommend to me once I am done with Serial?

4| Now that school is out I seem to have a lot more time on my hands so I have been doing a lot of baking.
I found the best ever cookie recipe on Pinterest and I have made them on three different occasions.

Just look at them! I love me some Peanut Butter.

I would show you how mine turned out like but a) they didn't look as appetising despite tasting great and b) me and my family devoured them before there was time to take a picture.

5| This show is all I have been watching lately.

I know it looks like all I do is watch TV with the amount of posts I mention it in but I promise I do actually productive things *sometimes*
I have hardly any energy in the evenings so all I really want to do is snuggle up on the couch watching TV and this show is everything I want in a TV show.
Do you think Joanna and Chip will fly over and give my house a overhaul, a girl can dream right.Do any of you watch this?

Sorry for such a shitty post last night had me spending the majority of the time with my head down the toilet. No I wasn't drunk, I have some kind of stomach bug but I couldn't miss linking up with these fabulous ladies.

10 Things To Do When You Are In A Funk...

As you all know I suffer with depression and there are days when it is easier to manage than others. Some days I can lead a normal life hanging out with friends, going to the gym but other days I have to use every last ounce of energy just to get out of bed. In the three years that I have suffered with depression I have learnt what works to help me feel that much happier and motivated. So here is a list (we all know how much I like lists) of things that make me feel that much better. If you ever feel in a funk try some of these I promise that they will leave you feeling that much more happier.

1) Run yourself a hot bath, make sure there is some bubbles and some gorgeous smelling bath salts and light a candle or 5. I recommend french vanilla or clean cotton Yankee candles FYI. I either like to read a good book or magazine something that transports me to another place or I sometimes bring my IPOD and listen to some calming music. I usually come out feeling relaxed and stress free.
2) Exercise, this is probably the hardest thing to get myself to do. All I want is to be left alone whilst I lay in bed all day but I know getting my exercise will do all sorts of good. It is a known fact that exercise releases endorphins which make you happier. I know I have zero motivation to go for a run or to attend a full body pump workout but I know that I can muster up enough motivation to take a walk. Fresh air and nature= clearer mind.

3) Treat yourself, what better way than when we are feeling down to perk ourselves up with a treat. It doesn't have to be anything too expensive or it can whatever you want, it is your treat after all. It can be that handbag you are lusting over or a magazine or that dress. Treat yourself, you deserve it.
4) Put away your phone, laptop and any other device that allows you to access social media. Social media can sometimes make us feel worse than we actually do especially on those days when we don't have it all together. When we are feeling like we are being sucked into a black hole and we just want a good cry, the last thing we want is to see that person who is all put together.

5) Watch Disney films, put on fresh pajamas, fluffy socks and bring your duvet downstairs. Life can be so overwhelming so it is nice to watch something that brings you back to your care free childhood and escape the world of being an adult for an hour or two.
6) Get out of bed, have a wash, put on comfy yet nice clothes and do your make up. Feeling fresh and clean makes you have some kind of extra pep in your step. It is easy to stay in bed with your pajamas on all day but that just ends up making you feel worse. I always feel a little more happier when I have made some sort of effort and I am not completely terrified by my appearance.
7) Buy real flowers, yes real flowers. My nan always has fresh flowers in her house and whenever I go there I instantly feel in a better mood. They just make everything happier and appreciative of nature. Flowers are pretty cheap to buy and providing you look after them can last a week or longer sometimes.

8) Ice cream makes everything better just saying. Go down to your local supermarket and buy as many flavours as possible, you'll thank me for this later.

9) Get an early night or take a nap. Forget about being productive for a few hours and go and lye down in your comfy king size bed with soft sheets and just sleep. Sometimes having a few hours sleep where I can switch off my thoughts and dream about unicorns and rainbows makes me feel like a different person.

10) Write down how you feel, holding in your emotions can be the worst thing. Dwelling in the sadness and depression makes everything 100x harder to deal with. Get a notebook (buy one of those fancy ones, you may be more incline to use it or is that just me) Sometimes it is just single words other times it is a paragraph but just getting what is going on in your brain out of your system works wonders. It helps me to realise why I am feeling this way and what I can do to help manage those feelings. Reading back on notes from months ago has made me realise how far I have come!

Weekend Recap...

I swear I blinked and this weekend was over. This weekend was jammed packed full and it was go go go from the moment Friday rolled around. I need an extra day just to recover from all the happenings of this weekend.

Friday I went to Staples and WH Smith in search of some new stationary ready for school. Nothing gets me more excited than new stationary. I think I spent close to £30 on pens, pencils, notebooks, files, highlighters and post it notes. My stationary collection is quite the piece. All I have left to buy is a new planner but I don't know which one would be more suitable so I am going back and fourth on a few.
I then went to afternoon tea with my nan and mother. I may or may not of eaten two scones with jam and clotted cream.
Then I spent all night watching New Girl until I passed out around 10pm #gettingold

Saturday I went shopping and to see Inside Out.

My go to cinema treats are always pop corn and a Tango ice blast.

It was quite the family affair my two aunties, my two cousins, me and my mother. I love anything to do with Pixar/Disney so I knew I would love this film. It did not disappoint, I would recommend you all go and see it no matter your age! I am not going to say anymore as I don't want to ruin it for you.
I also scored some major deals in the sale! I bought 2 pair of jeans for £21 and they fit like a glove, I wish I bought some more pairs after learning of the price. They were marked down to £20 each which is still amazing in itself and when I went to pay one was £9 and the other was £11.
I also bought a new pair of Converse. I had a white pair a year ago and they got ruined after 7 months so I finally bought a new pair of white ones. I kind of don't want to wear them in case they get dirty again.

Sunday I went to explore the cheese and wine festival with my family. We bought a little picnic blanket and drank wine and eat fair food whilst watching some entertainment. I bought a new bottle of wine, I can't remember what it was. I would go and tell you but I drank it Sunday night. It was a great day out full of wine tasting, food and family time. It started to drizzle a little around 3pm so we high tailed it out of there. I ended the night with pizza and watching some Castle.

This message was on the pizza box and I just found it so funny.

I haven't had such a jam packed weekend in ages and I can see why I don't like to rush around on the weekends because this morning I have no motivation all I want to do is sleep.
