Weekend Shenanigans...
05:56Friday I had to babysit all day for my little cousin who was a complete gem. We went to the park, did a ton of crafts and read the same book about 50 times.
I am so lucky I managed to get this photo as he never sits still and most of my photos turn out blurry. |
Friday night I went for some food with a group of my girlfriends. We went to Nandos and I had the butterfly chicken with creamy mash and corn. It was delicious.
Saturday I had a relaxing morning and was made breakfast courtesy of my lovely mother. I then helped around the house and went for a run. After my run I had a quick pedicure and manicure before spending the evening playing games and drinking homemade cocktails at my grandparents house. Sadly I got no pictures as I forgot to charge my phone and my battery died.
Sunday it rained all day, it did not stop. So I used the rain as a perfect excuse to snuggle up on the sofa and watch Castle. I also managed to write a few blog posts and help my mother grocery shop for the week but other than that I did nothing.

Ha, that quote is fantastic! Lazy Sundays are my favorite and I'm really hoping/looking forward to one next weekend.
ReplyDeleteEvery Sunday is a lazy Sunday for me. I never seem to do anything productive on a Sunday, my body just won't allow it. I hope you manage to have one this weekend, it makes everything better.
DeleteLove a good home cooked meal by moms :)
ReplyDeleteI hate cooking so my mums cooking is always appreciated!
DeleteI know what you mean about kiddos never stop moving- haha! My niece is the same way, I end up with so many blurry pics of her! I need to go get a mani/pedi now-- I'm past due!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI try and get a good picture and they just never stay still so I give up and just accumulate loads of blurry photos. Mine started chipping badly so I needed to get one. A new colour change is just what the doctor ordered. Nothing like spending a good hour relaxing at the nail salon.
DeleteLazy sundays are the best!!
